Symbion Victoria’s Recessed Lift tables and Pallet Dispensers

Improved efficiency in working and loading

After fitting eighteen AS1-900 Scissor lift Platforms to their facility in Victoria in 2013, Symbion continued their association with Total Lifting Solutions Australia Pty Ltd and Safetech to provide and assist them with the installation of eighteen Lift Tables recessed into the floor and 2 Pallet Accumulators, for their Queensland Distribution Centre. The Lift Platforms were Fitted with the flush mount Safetech Paldisc which allowed them to have the ability to rotate and elevate the platform to always be in the optimal working position.

This eliminated the use of ride on forklift trucks form the work area creating a safer working environment for the staff.

  

The lift platforms are controlled close to the operator platforms allowing them to control the raise and lower safely yet without leaving their work area.

The Pallet Accumulators were constructed to fit next to each other with the built- in power packs fitted on opposite sides allowing access for maintenance and repair without having to work in a cramped area.

These units are loaded by hand pallet truck and unloaded using a ride on forklift. They have been designed to accommodate Chep and Loscam pallets.

  

Once installed, the Safetech Pallet Dispensers are an obvious choice in standardising how pallets are handled and stored. No need for complex stacking, signage and storage practices. They also help prolong the life of all pallets by keeping them in sequential rotation.
