Safetech designs and manufactures to relevant State and Commonwealth legislative requirements including:

• Work Health and Safety Act 2011
• Work Health and Safety Regulations 2011
• State Work Health and Safety Regulations (e.g. VICTORIA-Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2017)

Safetech designs and manufactures to relevant parts of Australian and International Standards including:

• AS1418.8 Freight and personnel hoists.
• BS EN 81-20:2020 (Passenger and Goods Passenger Lifts), BS EN 81-21-2018 (Lifts for the Transport of Persons and Goods) and engineering principles.
• AS3000 Electrical installation on all Safetech products.
• AS3990 Structural component of all Safetech products.

In addition:

• Attended hoists and lifts are verified and design registered as required by State Occupational Health and Safety Regulations
• Safetech’s design team is led by degree-qualified engineers using the latest 3D modelling and programming software.
