FRM installed Freight Mate is a critical link for Buckby Motors in Tasmania

A custom Freight Mate in Buckby Motor’s Galvin Street facility is being utilized to facilitate the 2 levels of their refurbished service centre.

With customers, service and spare parts sales at the upper level and deliveries at the lower level the Freight Mate forms a vital link in transporting all spare parts within the facility.

Buckby’s service manager Nathan Wooley said they had given it a solid workout with full pallets of goods beyond 1000kg and it has handled it all with ease.

Safetech’s distributor in Tasmania handled the Freight Mate specification, installation and after sales support, with this 4600mm Freight Mate being installed in 3 pieces from the lower level.

 

With branches in Devonport, Launceston and Hobart FRM provide a great support and coverage for Safetech products in the apple isle.

In addition to the Freight Mate installation, the new Buckby site also had an existing Tieman Scissor hoist (now part of Safetech’s product line).  FRM were commissioned to relocate and repurpose this existing scissor to the new Buckby’s parts receiving department on the lower level.
