Safetech’s pallet dispensers are designed to prevent the pallet damage that often occurs with other dispensers. which lift the pallet by squeezing the side whichoften damages or break them. Safetech has designed its pallet dispensers to lift pallets in the same way that a forklift or hand pallet truck does – with tynes under the board. This prevents pallet damage and safely stores and dispenses pallets as needed.
1) Enclosed hook tyne dispensers are loaded and unloaded from the front only but are compact and do not require fencing. Can be loaded or unloaded with forklifts or hand pallet trucks.
2) Non enclosed hook tyne dispensers can be loaded and unloaded from the front or the back. They are supplied with fencing. Non enclosed hook tyne dispensers can accept a pallet stack placed on the floor from one side and dispense individual pallets onto the floor from the other side. It can be loaded or unloaded with forklifts or hand pallet trucks.
3) Double pallet dispensers. Suited to applications using double pallet lift trucks. The operator can select 1 or 2 pallets at a time. Uses two separate pallet hoppers, one for each stack. Each hopper can raise and lower independently so that a single pallet can be dispensed from either stack.

Applications

Palletising lines using robotic palletisers. A separate pallet handling system allows the robot to concentrate on the palletising task.
Stand-alone applications where a pallet is dispensed onto the floor. This makes individual pallets available to operators without the need for a forklift.
Safety and Limitations
Placarding of automatic equipment is essential.
Operator and forklift driver training is important to minimise the risk of a mishap.
Poor quality or inconsistent pallets are a problem in any automated system. Forklift drivers need to be vigilant and remove bad pallets from the stack before they reach the dispenser
