When selecting the right goods hoist for your application you need to consider the following:

1. Required travel for the platform
    
2. Capacity of load.
    
3. Inside or Outside positioning
    
4.  Size of the platform
    
5. How will it be loaded and unloaded?
    
6. How many doors are required?
    
7. Door orientation
    
8. Controls. Size of pit. A deep pit means that a scissor may be able to be used
    
9. Access. Particularly important for installation.
