Company Profile:
Well established leading local newspaper. Publisher. 
LV Express, Moe News, Traralgon Journal and a number of other papers.

Application:
At their printing works in Morwell, a large number of women are employed to insert Flyers, catalogues etc into the papers most days of the week. Tens of thousands of these flyers are inserted every week.

The Problem:
The women have to unload the flyers from pallets which involves extensive bending, stretching and moving around the pallet. This risks back and upper limb injury.

Product Chosen:
The  Safetech Palift was chosen as it eliminated bending and walking around the pallet. Over many years now LV express has continued to purchase multiple units at a time until most pallet stations are assisted by a Palift. 

Benefits of this product:
By purchasing Palift pallet levellers the staff  have eliminated the need to bend and walk around the pallet. This has resulted in huge productivity gains and a very happy workforce for the company. 
 
Alternatives:
The company could have purchased more expensive hydraulic scissor lift tables but were more than happy with the user friendly spring loaded units.
Alternative spring loaded units were not as durable or easy to use.
